Jamie Hillman has over twenty years experience teaching, training and competing in the martial arts.  He began studying Aikido and Wing Chun before moving on to begin his fifteen-year study of Shotokan Karate.  Jamie was a regular competitor on the freestyle semi-contact circuit in the early nineties where he achieved a great deal of success, notably becoming the Welsh Karate Union Senior Kumite champion as well as representing the University of London in the National Student (BUSA) Championships.

In 2003 Jamie realised a childhood ambition when he was able to take up Bruce Lee’s martial art Jeet Kune Do.  He became an instructor in the art under Bob Breen the following year.  Jamie complements this art with cross training in Kali, Muay Thai, Western Boxing and Grappling. 

Jamie competes in Thai Boxing and is trained as an assistant instructor in boxing under the TVP Boxing Method.  Personal tuition is also available by arrangement.
